You have just learned that you are HIV positive. You feel scared, depressed, confused, and maybe even angry. But you have to remember two important things: being HIV positive is not a death sentence anymore, and you are not alone. Although there is still no cure for HIV, new treatments have made such progress that it is now possible to live a long and healthy life with HIV.
In the next months you will have to face several issues regarding your new condition: what actions you should take to maintain your health, who you should tell, when you should start treatment, how to find a good doctor…
You will also learn how to understand your lab results, when to start and how to manage your medical treatment and how to maintain your general health.
This page is designed to guide you in this process. Connect with us and use our services and resources whenever you need them.
